At Lighthouse, we believe that everything entrusted to us, our children, our lives, our homes, and our work, is a gift and reward from God (Psalm 127:3; James 1:17). Because of this, we make space to dedicate it all back to Him, recognizing that it belonged to Him first.

Three ways to dedicate

However you come, you belong

Dedication is simply saying yes to God with what He has given you. There are three ways families at Lighthouse do that.

For your child

Child Dedication

Children are a blessing from the Lord, and parents are called to raise them in the ways of God. Child Dedication is a public commitment made before God, your church family, and your loved ones. You entrust your child into God's hands, asking for His guidance, protection, and blessing as you raise them to know Him.

For yourself

Adult & Personal Dedication

Dedication isn't only for children. Scripture invites us to present our bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God, which is our true and proper worship (Romans 12:1). Adult dedication is a step of faith and surrender that declares, “Lord, my life belongs to You.” It is a public desire to be set apart for Jesus and free from every ungodly tie.

For your home & work

House, Business & Other

Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labour in vain (Psalm 127:1). Beyond children and individuals, we also dedicate homes, cars, businesses, and every other area of life to God, inviting His presence and favour into all that concerns us.
